The Instagram-bait chain of museums became a viral phenomenon among the social media circle, thanks in large part to the photographable aesthetic of the museum‘s swimming pool of (plastic) rainbow sprinkles and other millennial pink accouterments, with the lightest side of actual ice cream history. Each $38 ticket reportedly includes access to all of the “socially inclusive and accessible” museum‘s interactive exhibits, as well as tastings of multiple in-house treats. Tickets to each of the locations regularly sell out – a huge 30,000 tickets to the New York exhibition were sold in the first five days.
