In the eyes and mind of Alberta Ferretti, the woman is a goddess: beautiful and powerful, connected to earth and transcendent. Her Spring-Summer 2016 collection, presented during the Women Fashion Week in Milano, was an inspiring and unique collection.

Inspired by the Burning Man Festival in the US, the fashion designer, brought in the catwalk fine, elegant lines, very well constructed, in balance with textures and colors. The main feature of her spring-summer 2016 collection, were the Greco- Roman dresses- her pray for the woman- irresistible details and accessories that gave you the feeling of watching a tribe parade.

The earthly colors, like that of sand, with some features of gold and black, gave that special touch to the bohemian look. Alberta Ferretti’s perception of the desert woman has colors like white, orange, yellow, purple and green completing the palette.  To fulfill this spring-summer mood the designer used a texture like leather and lace work, a sexy toque for an ideal and special vacation with a luxurious feeling into it.

Alberta Ferretti’s feminine and dreamy work doesn’t stop here, she recently inaugurated her splendid showroom in Paris, right next to her boutique maison. This was a special reason for her to present a limited edition of Spring Collection 2016.

kk-mirrors-750This collection was inspired by the friezes, frescoes and chandeliers of the spectacular scenic  space, built in 1860 and restored by Aeffe Spa. On the background of this magical environment, the melody of a piano accompanied the models on their catwalk, through the amazing halls and gardens, with ball dresses and overdresses decorated with embroidered floral garlands that recall the romantic atmosphere of the renaissance. The grand finale was a dreamy white dress decorated with crystals, imagining to be dressed by a very lucky and romantic bride.
