The 7th edition of Art Basel Hong Kong opens soon. During 29th to 31st March, the Art Basel Hong Kong 2019 will be held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, featuring foremost contemporary art galleries from Asia and all over the world.
This design event delivers an in-depth overview of the region’s diversity through both historical material and creative works by established and emerging artists. The design exhibition counts with 242 galleries from 35 countries and half of the participating galleries once again have exhibition spaces in Asia and Asia-Pacific.
Art Basel Hong Kong 2019 provides a gateway to the region’s artists and also gives to galleries from around the world a platform in Asia to demonstrate the way they work with artists via six show sectors presenting a diverse collection of artworks, fine art pieces, craftmanship masterpieces with a contemporary design, unique paintings, modern sculptures, as well as curated projects.
Recognized as one of the perfect places and tradeshows for design-lovers, Art Basel Hong Kong 2019 receives people from all walks of life, from first-time visitors to high celebrities, like Leonardo di Caprio or David Beckham, where everyone can appreciate and discover peculiar, wonderful and remarkable creative works.
Unquestionably Hong Kong’s biggest annual art and design event, Art Basel Hong Kong 2019 revealed the exhibitor list for its approaching edition: among those first-time participants are Luhring Augustine, of New York and Brooklyn; Paula Cooper Gallery, of New York; and Galerie Max Hetzler, of Berlin and Paris. Besides this, some contemporary art galleries based in Hong Kong will also be on hand at Art Basel Hong Kong 2019.
