In a collaboration that is the first of its kind, the famous luxury brand Bulgari worked with HRH Sheikha Fatima Bint Hazza Bin Zayed Al Nahyan of the UAE to create and to generate the magnificent “Jannah” jewellery collection: while Bulgari represents the West and Sheikha Fatima represents the East, the blending of the two worlds was more natural and organic than anyone expected. This Bulgari’s latest high jewellery collection explores the rich heritage of the Middle East – Get impressed by these unique and fine craftsmanship pieces!
The concept for the “Jannah” jewellery collection revolves around a five-petal flower, something that was not chosen by chance. This motif in necklaces, earrings, bracelets, rings, headpieces, and two watch models rejoice the historical connection of two wonderful cities, Abu Dhabi and Rome: a marvellous joining that dates back to time immemorial. This Bulgari’s collection is not just a superb line of expensive stones, but it is also the history of two powerful families united by common values and respect for cultural heritage: fitting perfectly with a luxury lifestyle, the Jannah Collection is nothing more than a dialogue between two remarkable and important civilizations.
The “Jannah” Collection consists of 26 luxury jewellery designs and two timepieces centring on a five-petal flower (which beautifully adorns the Carrara marble ceilings and architecture of Abu Dhabi’s Grand Mosque, commissioned by Sheikh Zayed): a unique design inspired by Bulgari’s creative director of high jewellery Lucia Silvestri’s many visits to the Abu Dhabi Grand Mosque. Some of these modern jewels required 1200 to 1500 hours of work by a single jewellery artisan to craft.
Each luxury jewel is a symbol of grandeur and pure sophistication. The collection was revealed for the first time on 2020 February 10, at the Louvre Abu Dhabi, where nine stunning pieces were displayed.
