One of the biggest furniture fairs in the world of contemporary design, Maison et Objet, has completed yet another edition, filled with wonderful limited edition pieces. Maison Et Objet 2020 comes back in September for its fall edition, but until then, let us ravel in the news this design event brought us!
From your favourites to the ones that you are about to discover, these are the modern design brands that utterly made us fall in love with their incredible contemporary design.
The design brand presented a stand with a little twist. If you are a fan of Seletti, you are already familiar with the modern design brand’s signature pieces, this year they thought it would be cool to twist things up and turn everything upside down.
BOCA DO LOBO
Boca do Lobo‘s stand was truly mesmerizing and dare we say, THE place to be during Maison et Objet 2020. “Contemporary and Timeless Interiors” arrived at the city of love – a classic concept that resonates with Boca do Lobo‘s core message of how luxury design aligned with exquisite craftsmanship creates inspiring interiors.
For Maison et Objet 2020, Jonathan Adler focused mainly on the ambience brought to the stand. Something with an ethereal aesthetic that makes the brand’s pieces glow and stand out.
When you think about Houtique, fringes and a blast of colours come to mind. For Maison et Objet 2020, the brand brought its signature pieces such as the Wink collection.
ZAHA HADID DESIGN
Zaha Hadid Design is another design brand that made a splash at Maison et Objet 2020! The luxury brand debuted the new Plex vessel and extensions to the Cell, Pulse, Duo and Serenity collections. Once again goes to show that Zaha Hadid Design has been managing to maintain its unique quality in regards to innovations in glasswork. Many of the designs on display during Maison et Objet 2020 were limited edition.
VISTA ALEGRE & CHRISTIAN LACROIX
Vista Alegre is once again partnering with some of the biggest names in the industry to bring you the most delicate yet contemporary designed porcelain and tableware. Christian Lacroix is one of those names, combining its exclusive design with Vista Alegre‘s craftsmanship techniques.
Atelier Swarovski’s luxury crystal accessory collections are created in collaboration with some of the most remarkable designers from a range of creative fields including fashion, modern jewellery, and architecture. Released biannually, these collections were presented at Maison et Objet 2020 to celebrate the infinite creative potential of Swarovski crystal and the artistry of each designers’ unique vision.
