Famous for being a collective of artists and designers directed by Piergiorgio Robino, Studio Nucleo is a design studio based in Torino, Italy. Active in contemporary art, modern design and architectural fields, Studio Nucleo was initially founded as a research-based collaborative of artists. If you want to discover more about this talented team, take a look at their remarkable projects and creative works!
Studio Nucleo focuses on objects, designing and manufacturing pioneering modern furniture that calls to mind ancient cultures, geological processes, and natural phenomena. Working with resin and fibreglass, the design studio creates distinctive fine art pieces with a unique design that sometimes look like fossils or crystals, or reference the ages of man in copper, bronze, and iron.
Their innovative approach attracted the attention of high-end brands. Frequently inspired by the subjects of time and place, the design studio’s work evokes comparisons between the past, present, and future. Through this theme, Studio Nucleo hopes to influence viewers’ perceptions of themselves and their surroundings.
