You’ll want to put the upcoming Elegance at Hershey on you calendar. This sophisticated car show in the United States is worth it of visiting for all luxury car lovers. Taking place next weekend June 10 through 12, the event is a celebration of fine cars for great causes – and the founders hope to raise thousands of dollars for JDRF, the AACA Museum, and AACA Library & Research Center.
The Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance continues to be the granddaddy of all car shows in the United States, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t several others worth visiting like the Elegance At Hershey.
In addition to The Elegance on Sunday, a juried event that will feature some of the finest examples of custom coachwork Classics and unique sports/ racing and special interest vehicles with historical importance produced prior to 1960, there are several other events worth attending.
The Grand Ascent, modeled after the Goodwood Festival of Speed, takes place on Friday and Saturday and competitors will be driving mostly pre-war cars sanctioned by the Vintage Sports Car Club of America. You can purchase a ticket for only $50.

It wouldn’t be a vintage car event without an auction so on Saturday, June 11 from 1–5, the newly formed Finest Automobile Auction company will present 50 desirable vehicles for sale. You’ll find everything from a 1923 Hupmobile to a 2000 Ferrari 550 Maranello.
Saturday night there’s a gala dinner to raise money for their charities as well as a silent auction featuring a wide range of items donated by Mario Andretti, Chopin Vodka, D&S Cigars, Movado Watches, and many others.
