The Hervé Van der Straeten Gallery opened its doors in 1999 and holds one-of-a-kind and limited edition pieces, arranged in thematic exhibitions, with worldwide recognization. Design Limited Edition is going to take on a journey through this remarkable gallery, and artists, and some of its most emblematic pieces and artsy creations that are no stranger to the contemporary design world!


The French designer, Hervé Van der Straeten, studied at the Paris École des Beaux-arts and got famous in 1985 because of his graphic, sculptured jewelry collections. Hervé Van der Straeten is a truly independent contemporary artist and his work combines extreme freedom of expression with careful execution. Hybridization, elegance, and refinement are some of the artist’s guide words! He has gained a global appreciation for the striking designs of exclusive furniture, mirrors, and lighting.


Van der Straeten Gallery’s pieces turn heads all around the world, as its strong presence makes them instantly recognizable. They are made in cabinet-making workshops set up and expanded by the designer over the years. Also, the famous artist has worked for renowned luxury brands, and some of his works become design icons, such as Dior’s “J’adore” perfume bottle, Guerlain’s “KissKiss” lipstick, and the “Excess” range for Saint Louis glass manufacturers!
