Luckily, some of the world’s most expensive destinations are also home to the most scenic train rides. Here’s a look at 10 exceptionally and expensive train journeys.

The most luxurious trains currently serving Japan is Kyushu Seven Stars. ts cabins are decorated with aromatic hinoki cypress wood, bamboo blinds and Japanese paper screens.
The train has 12 en-suite rooms and two luxury suites, and on longer trips guests might have the opportunity to stay in a traditional ryokan and enjoy an onsen hot-spring bath.
