Celia Sawyer is definitely at the top of exemplary powerful and successful businesswoman nowadays. Creating and designing beautiful and luxury homes, Celia designs and with the best of the best.
Celia started her own small project 25 years ago, she went on to design luxury homes in London, now in its 20th year designing luxury homes, superyachts, aviation, commercial properties and projects in the leisure industry worldwide. A member of the Society of British and International Interior Design she became an authority worldwide in the interior design community.
The interior design project was for a client who has a luxury home in Dubai. The brief for the design project was masculine, with drama, but also glamorous. Celia chose the materials herself, which almost all featured black marble with gold fleck throughout to give the drama and masculine look that the client really wanted.
The furniture design was to be very glamorous, with lots of gold, shapes and reflections.
The interior designer used a lot of mirror and glass textures near and on walls, to reflect light and the landscape outside, and created pools of light to add drama and also daytime lighting to the interior design.
Celia Sawyer also imported a large full-sized real skeleton of an Arabian Horse, and Arabian gentleman and a Shahin bird of prey which were in 24k gold. These were on loan to the design firm from Stephen Cawston an upcoming artist who is causing a stir in the design world at the moment.
The sideboard featured ins this luxury home had a very unique design and the client loved the way that the gold was used in its design. It was a perfect fit because even though it was unique it still kept with glamour theme.
The stylish sideboard featured is by the Portuguese design brand Boca do Lobo. The Lapiaz Sideboard originates from one of Boca do Lobo‘s iconic design pieces. Based on the same aesthetic that created a legacy, this unique design piece takes exceptional craftsmanship and design to a new realm. Consisting of two individual modules, the Lapiaz is finished in polished stainless steel that portrays a perfect mirror, with a poplar root wood veneer interior.
