In 2009, Diogo Carvalho was studying in Milan, the city of arts and new trends. He had just finished his internship at Boca do Lobo and after representing it at London’s Decorex trade show he had fallen in love with the brand. Full of new ideas simmering in his mind, it was in Italy that he designed the Royal’s first draft, soon enough it was recognized as a design trend.

In 2010 he started working at Boca do Lobo and the Royal Table was definitely born, embodying, perfectly, the concept of Limited Edition. The dual personality of this table gathers Manueline and Gothic styles, while reflecting Boca do Lobo’s philosophy of challenging the past thru the future. A sublime use of the boldest and most innovative designs, never forgetting the rich tradition of the past.
Its beauty and strong personality may be the reason why this piece is the target of several copy attempts from its competitors. However, these copy efforts were predictably unsuccessfully, because the experience and skills of the craftsmen cannot be replicated.
